Helping felines since 1972

Pet Haven is a nonprofit, limited-admission, no-kill cat shelter and adoption center dedicated to giving cats a second chance. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we receive no government funding and rely entirely on the generosity of our community to provide shelter, medical care, and loving homes for cats in need.

We are now booking appointments

To ensure every cat receives the time and care they deserve, all intake assessments are now by appointment only.

If you need to surrender a cat or would like Pet Haven to assess a cat for possible intake, please visit our Surrender Process page to review our intake guidelines and waiting list information.

Getting started is easy:

  1. Determine which Surrender Process you need to complete.

  2. Complete our Surrender Application under either owner surrenders or stray surrenders.

  3. A Pet Haven team member will contact you within 48 hours (depending on our operating schedule) to discuss your situation and schedule an intake assessment or discuss the wait list with you.
